Modern Slavery

In both classes today, people asked about whether slavery still exists today - and, indeed, it does. Varying by source, estimates of how many people are enslaved seem to run from 24 to 27 million worldwide, though given the covert nature of modern slavery, we can't be entirely precise in this area.
